Mr. Mosammat Ismat Ara has joined as District & Sessions Judge on 21st January 2025 in Kurigram district. She is a member of 18th BCS (Judiciary) and her service ID No. is 1998118159. She completed her LLB degree from Dinajpur Law College. Her native district is Dinajpur. Earlier, she worked in Bogura, Dhaka, Thakurgaon and Chapainawabganj districts. Besides, she served as Chief Judicial Magistrate in Joipurhat district and Judge (District & Sessions Judge), Nari o Shisu Nirjaton Domon Tribunal in Rangpur district. During her service life, she has taken training as Judge in Australia, Japan India and different countries.
